40.5kV Solid Insulated Switchgear:FYG series solid insulated switchgear is suitable for medium voltage power distribution system with rated current of 630A/1250A. It is more reliable than the SF6 ring main unit, and is more suitable for the wider application of GB standards and IEC standards.

There are no flammable and explosive substances, no corrosive chemicals, frequent and severe vibration, and no strong vibration.
The solid insulation design eliminates issues related to gas pressure or liquefaction. Standard operating altitude is ≤2000m (adaptable to ≤2500m). Ambient temperature range is -15℃ to +40℃, with short-term tolerance up to +50℃ for up to 4 hours. There's no need to derate or adjust settings for altitude/temperature as required for SF6 GIS.
Solid insulated RMU uses epoxy resin to completely encapsulate all high-voltage live parts, including vacuum interrupters and conductive circuits. Unlike SF₆ gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), it contains no greenhouse gases and eliminates risks of gas leakage or liquefaction. Compared to air-insulated switchgear (AIS), it is more compact, fully sealed, and immune to dust, humidity, and pollution, offering superior safety and reliability in harsh environments.
