The RCW series automatic circuit recloser is specifically designed for 21.9kV overhead distribution lines and substation applications in 50/60Hz power systems. It integrates control, protection, measurement, communication, fault detection, and online monitoring of switching status. The RCW series combines a vacuum interrupter, current transformers, a permanent magnetic actuator, and an intelligent controller into a compact, high-performance unit.
This recloser is highly customizable, offering a wide range of relay protection logics (such as instantaneous/timed over-current, directional over-current, zero-sequence/earth fault protection, and programmable ANSI/IEC curves) as well as comprehensive communication protocols (RS-232/485, DNP3.0, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-101/104, and GPRS).
It also allows users to customize rated parameters and reclosing intervals, and features an event recording capacity of up to 10,000 records, including fault and normal operation logs.
