The RVB-123/145 series dead tank vacuum circuit breaker is designed and manufactured in compliance with IEC 62271-100:2021 and IEEE standards for indoor and outdoor medium-to-high voltage power distribution applications. It employs a hermetically sealed vacuum interrupter with arc extinction time <10ms, providing reliable interruption of load currents and fault currents.
Rated voltage covers 123kV to 145kV, with non-standard voltages including 69kV and 132kV also available within the 11kV–145kV range. Custom rated currents are available to meet specific project requirements. The RVB series is ideally suited for grid retrofits, industrial power distribution, and renewable energy power plant grid connection.
Full-dimensional customization of rated voltage, rated current, and phase configuration (single-phase / three-phase) is available to meet diverse global grid standards. Proven non-standard production configurations include 69kV, 75kV, and 132kV. Rated current ranges from 1250A to 3200A, with a maximum customizable rating of 4000A. The series voltage ceiling is 145kV.
Each unit is fully assembled and factory-tested before shipment. Core components require no on-site disassembly, eliminating the need for on-site high-voltage withstand testing and significantly reducing project timelines and site installation costs.

Efficient Vacuum Arc Extinction:High-seal vacuum interrupter with internal vacuum level ≤10⁻⁴ Pa, zero medium contamination. Electrical endurance ≥10,000 operations at rated current; full-capacity short-circuit interruption ≥20 operations (Class E2), suitable for frequent switching duty.
10‑Year Design Life, Low Maintenance:10‑year design life under normal operating conditions. Vacuum interrupter is maintenance-free for its entire lifetime. Spring operating mechanism requires periodic inspection every 10,000 mechanical operations or every 10–15 years (whichever comes first), significantly reducing lifecycle inspection and maintenance costs. Suitable for unattended smart substations.
Wide Temperature Range, Harsh Environment Adaptability:Operating ambient temperature –50°C to +60°C. Compatible with high-altitude installations (with dielectric derating per IEC 62271‑1), Class IV heavy pollution, 20mm ice coating, and strong wind loads.
