Description

The 21.9kV single-phase automatic recloser is an intelligent outdoor switching device designed for medium-voltage distribution networks. Using vacuum arc-extinguishing technology, it can quickly interrupt fault currents and effectively isolate short-circuit, overload and abnormal operating conditions. The single-phase structure makes it especially suitable for single-phase laterals, rural distribution lines, long feeders and sectionalizing applications.

Equipped with an intelligent controller, the unit supports automatic reclosing to restore power after transient faults while locking out permanent faults. Its compact outdoor design, vacuum interrupter and corrosion-resistant housing allow stable operation in high temperature, severe cold, high humidity and dusty environments.

Controller Description

The single-phase recloser controller integrates protection, control, monitoring, measurement and metering functions. It supports multiple relay protection logics, including overcurrent, negative-sequence, directional, over/under-voltage and earth-fault protection, with ANSI/IEC curve options and customizable protection settings.

The controller is equipped with RS-232/RS-485 communication interfaces and supports multiple power communication protocols, including GPRS/GSM remote communication. Reclosing parameters can be pre-programmed, and the unit provides electrical parameter measurement together with up to 10,000 SOE event and fault records for efficient fault analysis and O&M.
