This Rockwill wind power prefabricated compact substation is a box-type transformer designed for wind turbine step-up applications. It integrates a transformer, oil-immersed load switch, and high-voltage fuses within a sealed oil-filled tank, using transformer oil as both electrical insulation and cooling medium. The LV side is configured with necessary protection components.
The substation converts the low-voltage output from wind turbines (0.8 kV / 0.9 kV) to medium voltage for grid connection. It features intelligent monitoring, reliable operation, compact size, light weight, and ease of installation.
