Description

The Rockwill single-phase automatic step voltage regulator is an oil-immersed tap-changing autotransformer designed for overhead medium-voltage distribution lines.

Equipped with an advanced digital controller and a motor-driven on-load tap changer (OLTC), it continuously samples voltage and current signals from the grid and automatically adjusts the output voltage in discrete steps to compensate for line voltage drop, load fluctuations, and source-side instability.

The regulator covers a ±10 % boost and buck range across 32 steps (approximately 0.625 % per step), and is rated for system voltages from 2,400 V (60 kV BIL) to 34,500 V (200 kV BIL), compatible with both 50 Hz and 60 Hz networks.
