Winding Connection Schematics
Our oil-immersed zigzag earthing transformers are supplied in two standard winding arrangements:
- ZN (without secondary winding, ): Dedicated neutral point creation, for connection to neutral grounding resistor or arc suppression coil.
- ZNyn11 (with auxiliary secondary winding): Combined unit for neutral grounding and 0.4kV station service power supply.
The zigzag winding design features low zero-sequence impedance, enabling reliable earth fault current passage and stable neutral-point operation for medium voltage distribution networks.
